Introduction

Welcome to Mingle Society (minglesociety.ro), a platform for socializing and psychoeducation events. By using the platform, you accept these terms and conditions in full.

User account

To purchase tickets, you must create an account with a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login details and for all actions carried out from your account.

Ticket purchase

Tickets purchased through the platform are nominal -- the participant is the account holder. Each user may purchase a single ticket per event. Tickets are non-transferable.

Payments and prices

All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are displayed in RON and include all applicable taxes. Payment is made by redirecting to the secure Stripe page. The platform retains a 10% commission on the price of each ticket sold, which covers operating and processing costs. For a new organizer's first 3 paid events, this commission is 0% (introductory offer).

Refund policy

Purchased tickets are non-refundable, except where the event is cancelled by the organizer or by the platform administrators. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified by email.

Event cancellation

Organizers and platform administrators reserve the right to cancel an event. In the event of cancellation, all ticket holders will be notified by email.

Conduct on the platform

The following actions are prohibited on the platform:

• Creating fake accounts or accounts with incorrect information
• Using the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
• Disrupting the operation of the platform

Intellectual property

The platform's content (design, texts, logos, source code) is the property of Mingle Society and is protected by copyright legislation.

Limitation of liability

Mingle Society facilitates ticket purchases and is not directly responsible for the running of events. Organizers are responsible for the quality and conduct of the events they publish.

Online marketplace / intermediary role

Mingle Society operates as an online marketplace, in accordance with OUG no. 34/2014, art. 6¹. For transparency, we state the following:

• Ranking order: events are displayed by default in ascending order of their event date. Mingle Society does not use paid placement -- no organizer can pay for a higher position in the list.
• Who the seller is: the event organizer is the seller/trader of the ticket. Mingle Society (BALAS TUDOR-DAN PFA) operates the platform as an intermediary and is not a party to the contract for providing the event service.
• Allocation of liability: Mingle Society facilitates the listing, ticket sales, and payment processing (via Stripe). The organizer is responsible for organizing, running, and ensuring the quality of the event.

Changes to the terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms. Changes will be published on this page together with the update date.
